Pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree No. 196 of June 30, 2003, on the protection of personal data

Dear Customer,
We inform you that, for the purposes related to the provision of the Service, MDP CarService Srl, with registered office at Via Campana 222, Quarto (NA), Italy, processes the data provided by you or otherwise acquired in the course of providing the Service.

The data controller is MDP CarService Srl, located at Via Campana 222, Quarto (NA), Italy, represented by its legal representative. The list of personal data processors and third-party recipients of communications is available at the offices of MDP CarService Srl.

Data processing is carried out using procedures suitable to protect the confidentiality of the User and consists of the collection, registration, organization, storage, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, dissemination, deletion, destruction of the data, including the combination of two or more of the aforementioned activities.

In addition to purposes directly connected and instrumental to the provision of the Service, data processing will also be aimed at:

a) disclosing data to companies that perform functions necessary or instrumental to the operation of the Service and/or manage databases intended for the protection of credit risks, which may also be accessible by third-party companies, including those outside the European Union;

b) collecting general and specific data and information regarding User preferences and behavior; sending commercial information and offers, including those from third parties; sending advertising and informational material; carrying out commercial communications, including interactive ones; conducting direct sales or placement of products or services; conducting studies and statistical research on sales, customers, and other information, and potentially sharing such data with third parties; transferring the collected and processed data to third parties, including those outside the European Union, for commercial purposes, including for sales or attempted sales, or for any lawful commercial and/or statistical purpose.

Providing consent to the processing of personal data by the User is optional.

If the User refuses the processing of personal data as described in point b), the processing will be limited to the full execution of the obligations arising from the provision of the Service, as well as to the fulfillment of legal, regulatory, and EU obligations.

If the User refuses the processing of personal data as described in point a), the Company will be unable to provide the Service.

The User’s data will be processed primarily using automated and computerized systems, always in compliance with the confidentiality and security rules provided by law.

The data will be retained in accordance with legal deadlines at MDP CarService Srl and will be processed by employees and/or professionals appointed by the Company, who carry out such activities under its direct supervision and responsibility.

For this purpose, the data provided by the User may be transmitted to external parties, including those abroad, that perform functions strictly related and instrumental to the operation of the Service.

We also inform you that, pursuant to Article 7 of Legislative Decree No. 196 of June 30, 2003, the Customer has the right to object, in whole or in part, for legitimate reasons, to the processing and may, according to the methods and within the limits set by current legislation, request confirmation of the existence of personal data concerning them, be informed of their origin, receive intelligible communication of such data, obtain information about the logic, methods, and purposes of the processing, request their updating, rectification, integration, deletion, anonymization, or blocking of data processed unlawfully, including data that is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, and, more generally, exercise all rights granted by current law.
